  • YES - Absolutely yes. Since we will have easier milage days, this is the perfect trip for you to dip your toes into spending time outside and connecting with nature.

  • Getting women and femmes outside and into community is at the heart of what I do — and these trips are free because that access matters. I want to provide an experience for women/femmes to connect in nature and build community.

That said, donations and tips are always highly suggested ranging from $100 to $300 on a rolling basis.

  • Day 1: We'll spend the first evening getting bikes set up at a location in town — cages, racks, bags, and everything else you need to feel dialed in before the trip. Note that we won't be heading out on Day 1, but attendance is required for gear setup night. Think pizza, bike tools, and good conversation with your fellow riders. Coming from out of town? No worries — reach out and I'm happy to share camping spot recommendations or other lodging options.

Day 2: We'll gather in the morning and carpool out to the trailhead, with a likely stop for a pastry or light snack along the way. Expect around 15 miles to our destination, then we'll set up camp, connect, and settle into nature.

Day 3: Wake up at your own pace with time to journal, read, or just relax before we head back to the cars. We'll stop somewhere in town for lunch before parting ways.

  • Any/All bikepacking gear will be provided for you. If you have gear already, great! In terms of camping gear — tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, etc. is available to borrow at no charge, just ask.

  • The expectation is that you know how to ride a bike and are comfortable in the saddle for multiple hours a day.

  • The hope would be you come with a bike fit for the route (hardtail, fully rigid, or gravel bike). You can always reach out to a local shop to rent

  • One dinner and one breakfast will be provided. I will send a detailed list of snacks and additional food items you should expect to pack. We will also plan on grabbing breakfast on the way to the trailhead

  • Along the way, you’ll learn the basics of backpacking — how to pack your backpack, follow Leave No Trace principles, practice trail etiquette, and stay safe on the trail. No pressure, just helpful tips to build your confidence and make your time outside even more enjoyable.
